This 2 day workshop incorporates woodwork sessions alongside a taster session of Health & Safety in Construction training.
- Practical Woodwork Sessions building a bird box.
- Intro to Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment.
- CSCS Test Revision Sessions.
Workshop Content:
All sessions relate to elements of the Level 1 Health and Safety in Construction Environment training. The practical sessions enable participants to put the training into perspective in a ‘work based’ environment at the Dusty Forge.
Day 1 –Â
- Level 1 taster session
- Marking out timber and cutting
- Using tools such as: pin hammers, hand saw, impact driver/drill etc
- CITB CSCS test revision session
Day 2 –Â
- Level 1 taster session
- Using glue to fix bird box together
- Sanding and painting bird box
- CITB CSCS test revision session
